Abstract

The article provides a scientific analysis of the problems of imposing punishment on minors, the features of the application of Article 98 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The minor age of the subject of the crime is analyzed as a mitigating circumstance. The inadmissibility of double consideration of a mitigating circumstance when imposing a punishment is noted. The differentiated types and terms of punishment that can be imposed on minors are emphasized. The young age of the subject of the crime is considered as a mitigating circumstance.
