Airport’s Fees as a Part of the air Transport Policy of the European Union

The article deals with the problems of airfield fees as part of the transport policy of the European Union. The issue of airfield fees is the part of air transport policy of the European Union, which is implemented by all the member-states. European Union contains the main principles regarding the establishment airfield fees, at the same time the recommendations of the International Civil Aviation are taken into account. The attention is payed to some principles of calculation and changing airfield fees for stable and quality enforcement air transporting. The provisions of Polish law related to fees, correspond with international law as well as European, despite the absence of a special act (order), giving the directive into action. This situation is the result of the considered opinion of the aviation market, collected during the consultations which were taken into account during the legislative work on the new system of airfield fees in Poland.
